CarmenOpera in four acts: Another destiny
A lyrical, immersive retelling of Bizet's myth, carried by artists who do not merely perform the stage, they inhabit it. An exceptional piece of live theatre, at the heart of the Vaud public.
A powerful image,
a space to breathe.
What if, behind the story we think we know, another truth lay hidden? Carmen, another destiny reinvents Bizet's myth in a vibrant and mysterious world premiere, where freedom is no longer paid for in blood.
Carmen, another destiny is not a revival. It is a creation that grips the myth head-on to rewrite its ending, there where freedom is no longer paid for in blood. True to the EvenEx-Lausanne signature, the show brings together voice, staging and scenography in total intensity, conceived as an encounter where raw emotion meets technical excellence.
An art that commits, that unsettles, that moves.
EvenEx-Lausanne is an association dedicated to creating and presenting unique works of live theatre at the heart of the Vaud public. Far more than a mere events company, it is a collective of enthusiasts convinced that art must resonate, bring people together and make sense.
Transmission
Because knowledge and emotion only have value if they are shared. We build lasting bridges between generations, artistic disciplines and audiences.
Respect for the Environment
Aware of the challenges of our time, we place an ecological approach at the heart of every production: technical restraint, eco-responsibility and local impact.
Total Commitment
We work exclusively with artists and partners who share our values. By giving their all, they offer audiences an authenticity without compromise.
Short-supply-chain culture, in the service of the region.
Because environmental and social responsibility must not be a mere slogan, EvenEx-Lausanne applies the principles of short supply chains to the world of culture. We proudly champion the concept of the "locavore show".
For each of our productions, a minimum of 80% of the resources and value generated is redistributed directly into the local economy: artists, craftspeople, technicians and suppliers.
